Rincon Creek Ranch

Long before it became the place where we would gather to get married, Rincon Creek Ranch had already collected more than a century's worth of stories.

Established in 1894, the ranch began as a stagecoach stop for travelers making their way along the California coast. In the decades that followed, quite a collection of visitors found their way here—from Hollywood figures to Presidents Theodore Roosevelt and Herbert Hoover. A few photographs from those days still hang on the ranch today.

Which, we admit, puts a certain amount of pressure on the guest list.

For generations, life continued among the creeks and old oaks in the hills above Carpinteria. Then, in December 2017, the Thomas Fire reached Stanley Park Road. Every structure on the property was lost.

What followed was not simply a rebuilding, but a new chapter.

Beginning in 2018, the family slowly brought the ranch back to life—one space and one season at a time. Today, Rincon Creek Ranch is once again a working farm, with avocado and citrus groves spread among its 120 acres, alongside meadows, old oaks, running creeks and gathering places tucked into the hills above Carpinteria.

And now, on October 24th, 2026, we get to add one small story of our own.

For one evening, the travelers arriving at Rincon Creek Ranch won't be coming by stagecoach—and, regrettably, we cannot promise any Presidents—but they will include many of our favorite people in the world.

We can't think of a better place to gather them.
